Membership in the Fraternal Order of Police, including participation in the FOP legal defense plan, is through a local FOP lodge. The TN FOP State Lodge Legal Defense Fund is partnered with the National FOP Legal Defense Fund and Full Legal Defense coverage is part of your membership.
Active Membership
Any full-time, sworn law enforcement officer with arrest power who is employed by a government entity may become a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Retired Membership
If you are a Retired Officer you can still join the FOP!
